I am not sure what everyone is talking about. We just need Hollywood firearms. I never see revolvers or semi autos run out of bullets in the movies.

Are all model 12s takedown? Or is a certain vintage only? Also, I read in the wiki link that some are 2 5/8 and some are 2 3/4. How do I tell which is which? Serial numbers maybe?

Just made a deal on armslist to buy a S&W 681 for 550. I was looking for a pre lock 686 (never even knew a 681 existed).There are not used guns in any of 11 gun store I have looked in around here even close to this. Is this price unreasonable anymore?
