.22 Mag, Semi Auto

Off the top of my head, out of production, but can still be found with some searching: Kodiak, H&R 700, H&K 300, Marlin 922, Ruger 10/22M, Remington 597M, Grendel Carbine, CZ 611 and 611A.

In production: Excel Arms (which MM appears to have badged Black Lightning), Volquarson, CZ 512.

Those are all I can remember. I vaguely recall a small company (years ago) offering an AR7 look-alike in 22 Mag, but I never saw one in the flesh. As I recall, it was pricey and that's the reason I don't have one.

Good luck with your quest.

Actually, Kel-Tec doesn't make a .22 WRM rifle.

They do make the PMR-30 pistol though.

They are marketing now a carbine version of it, too, called the RMR-30. Not sure of pricing or availability.

There was a AR-7 based rifle made in Germany: JGL-Automat 65 Rifle, manufactured by Josef G. Landmann-Preetz, .22LR and .22 magnum semi-auto. They show up on auction sites ever so often. I believe the model number 65, 68 and 69 represent the years they were intrioduced, but I haven't found much on them. One model was a tommy-gun look-alike designed to appeal to military rifle buffs.

.22 Mag is not reliable in a semi-auto. Just sayin...
Mine was giving me a little extracting trouble to start with but after calling Mitchels and using the kind of lube he said, it works great. I was using Rem oil and he said NO!. Sprayed it with breakfree and after a few shots, its all good.
