Announcing his passing, it was with a week left in August, right after we celebrated his and mom's latest birthdays.
I was just saying at work, how someday, I will inherit a very fine S&W 686 (no dash) but I'm in no hurry. Funny thing how fate works, I can't remember if it was my last day at...
I'd love some recommendations on a great set of powders, one for practice or economy rounds (10mm prolly ain't cheap either way!) and maybe one for max effort but here's the main caveat:
All I can get right now are Magnum Primers. I have 1000. Plus 1000 new Starline 10mm brass.
I have read one...
Gen 1, with add on rails... Got these just before the Gen 2s came out :neener:
But it was worth it! :D Now I need to decide how to set up, and a case.
BTW, the rails are Longshot MFG and are very nice. I want to paint them later.
Seems they make a solid (and Heavy!) weapon that is reliable.
NutNfancy on YouTube reviewed one, (C9) and rated it HIGHLY.
Totally reliable and very accurate. So I was wondering about
adding a backup in 9mm (I already have 2, this would slip in the middle)
and it seems like a good weapon...
I had a potential "situation" one morning, handled it well,
But I wondered how to safely, legally and TACTFULLY in
a non-escalating manner to inform someone you might
be carrying, so they could not later claim they were threatened
or that you "brandished" a weapon. I live in Indiana, BTW.
