These mags just don't feed. Ordered a replacement and it was worse. Just ordered a 450 bushmaster mag hoping it will work. The creedmoor shoots fantastically. Just have to bump the mag every time in order to feed the next round.
I've been reloading for many years but just used the col printed in reloading manuals. I was getting MOA +/- .5 accuracy in my 308, 223, 22-250, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 220 Swift after working up loads.
I recently purchased a Hornady OAL gauge and bullet comparator. I was amazed at the difference...
I've got several hundred 220 Swift once fired brass. I've tumbled 60 of them and then cleaned them in a sonic cleaner and cleaned the primer pockets. These are ready to size. Free to anyone interested. I'll pay the shipping. Just interested in helping out since I have received so much great...
Been working on some loads using 36 grain Barnes Varmint Grenades and BLC-2. Wondered if I could make these work in my 22-250.
Settled on 38.5 grains of BLC-2. Shot almost same hole at 50 yards and 1/2 inch at 100 yards at 4000 fps. Using Hornady brass, Winchester primers, and 2.350 OAL...
I have a Kimber 9mm Solo carry with a couple of issues.
1. The front sight moves out of center position. Is gluing it an option?
2. The POI is low at all distances even with hot loads. I would like to have an adjustable rear sight but there is no OEM for it. I see two options. Take...
I bought a new 22-250 and 80 rounds of Hornady ammo.
I was very disappointed with the accuracy. Made up some test loads with the rounds I had shot and found a .5MOA at 100 yds recipe.
The rounds were slightly difficult to bolt so I measured some of the new empties I had fired before...
We blow up a lot of beaver dams with dynamite. I have a can of mixed powder from a brain fart early in my reloading career when i emptied some Varget into a can of BLC-2 by mistake.
I was wondering if this would ignite explosively if placed under some dynamite.
Not sure if is is the place for this but didn't see anywhere else to post it.
My wife and I had been deer hunting in El Dorado, AR and were staying in a hotel there. We had just got back and my wife had gone to the room. She wanted me to bring her a can of sausages that was on the floor...
I have the following powders of which some I have not used. I started reloading a couple of years ago and bought what was available. What do you use the powders I have not used for?
Benchmark 2 lbs never used
Bullseye 1 lb never used
WST 1 lb never used
International 1 lb never used...
I'm on my 3rd year of reloading various calibers of pistol and rifle now.
My first reload was a 223. I made up 5 sets of 5 each. Had no one to help me so just read a couple of books and lurked around here for a while.
Had a friend with me when I shot them. Made him stand way back:eek...
I just received the following COATED bullets for 9mm and 45acp:
147 RN NLG .356
200 RN NLG .45.451
Should I use lead or plated data as a starting point?
I've shot about 200 rounds through my new Solo. 115, 124, and 147gr bullets.
Had some failures with factory ammo in all but the 147 which were golden sabers.
Started reloading some Hornady 147gr xtp bullets with imp 700x. Started at minimum and worked up to max. Had some failures until...
I've got a lot of these bullets that I want to load with Unique or 700x which are the only pistol powders I have.
I have found some recipes for 147gr Speer GDHP and would like to know if the recipes would be safe for this bullet.
I am limited on my pistol powders but want to load some Hornady 147gr xtp and remington 147 gr golden saber both in 9mm.
I have plenty of Unique. Anyone have starting-max recipes or a link to such?
I'm shooting a new Kimber Solo and having occasional difficulties with FTE on it.
I'm using 4.7gr Unique behind a Hornady 124gr XTP at 1.06 OAL. This load is close to max for that bullet according to Hornady.
Kimber recommends either 124 or 147 gr rounds in this pistol. I have some 147gr...
When shooting straight walled ammo like 9mm, 40s&w, or 45acp always out of the same pistol, is it necessary to resize them? I would think I could just deprime them, bell, prime and load. What am I missing?
