    Canik model questions

Recoil spring issues have been resolved with the Elites for a good while now. These Caniks are good guns, especially for the price. While not 100% clones, they are very “Walther-esque”.

    Laugo Arms Alien Pistol

I was super excited about these pistols until I heard about the price. I still think there will be some competition shooters that will buy them, but they are priced out of the hands of the average Joe, which is too bad.

That pistol which you hate to love!

Taurus's reputation has a checkered past -- ups and downs over the years. But they really got these PT111 G2 pistols right. One of my buddies really gave me some sideways looks when I told him I bought myself one for my birthday. But that gun is as reliable as the trigger take-up is long! ;)...

    Glock 43/26 versus Taurus PT111 G2

Great write up. Thanks for posting. I have found the Taurus feels slimmer in the grip than the G26. But I really like how it feels in the hand and mine has been absolutely reliable. You got an amazing deal on your G26! Three great guns overall. Congrats!

    Ruger Security-Six Barrel Blast Problem

Wow. I have owned several of these revolvers, some for more than 20 years and have never had a problem nor heard of this problem. Most folks say the "six" line are some of the toughest service revolvers and most stand by them wholeheartedly. This is very interesting.

    Canik TP9SF Elite?

I've only been to the range once with my Elite, but it ran through 200rds of 115gr with no issues, and the pistol is very accurate. I'm quite pleased with it so far.

    Canik TP9SFX?

The Canik TP9SFx has dovetail sights front and rear -- fiber optic in the front and Warren Tactical in the rear. Not fully adjustable, just drift adjustable for windage. Seems very well made though, especially with all the custom features you get for the price. I just picked one up -- havent...

Moon Clip Revolver Quest - Revisited

The Weigand rear blades offer a great sight picture for a reasonable price. They arent super heavy duty though, so I would not recommend them to folks who are rough with their guns. But for target work or even competition, they work great. I have had a Weigand on my 625 Performance Center for...

Moon Clip Revolver Quest - Revisited

Recently picked up this S&W 25-2 Has been shortened from the factory 6 inch barrel down to 4 inches, and has had action work done, with a bobbed hammer. I picked it up to get back into shooting IDPA, mostly for fun and practice. I just got the fiber optic front and the Weigand rear blade...

    KelTec PMR-30 followed me home

Mine only likes hotter ammo like the CCI MaxiMags. Lots of fun to shoot. I sure wish someone would make subsonic ammo so it would be a better candidate to suppress. :D Congrats on your find!

NFA Specific Question for SBR Registration for ar lower

HRnightmare has it right. You put an addendum page on your trust with the list of assets the trust owns. You can do this at the point of generating the trust without a bill of sale. When your trust is notarized, then it become effective and your items are now owned by the trust.

Love the original Ruger target grips. They are my favorite wood grips for the Security Six.

    Wilson Combat KZ 45

I wanted one of these years ago, and didn't have the $$ back then. I happened to have some cash recently for a gun purchase, and found a nice used example for sale at a good price. Got a chance to shoot it Thursday night and it ran like a champ. No issues at all, and very accurate. I...
