I have a Winchester Model 55,.22 rimfire that shoots from an open bolt.It is a semi-automatic,single shot.Neat gun,after firing it cocks the gun and automatically puts on the safety.Pretty accurate at 25 yards.

For some reason the hollow points come 40 rounds to a box and the solids come 50 rounds per box.Have no idea why.

It is not exclusive to Winchester primers.Same thing happened to me with Remington 71/2 BR primers in a 222 Rem magnum.Most likely a poor primer pocket.

IMR 3031 and 50 grain Sierra made one ragged hole in my .222 Rem mag.Other powders worked pretty good but 3031 was the best.
