Write in vote for the Walther PPQ 45.

Mine is stupid accurate. Sure it's ugly and the trigger is no 1911 but it sure shoots. I like it, reminds me of my first cars, a K-car and an 84 Escort. I've sold "better" guns and kept the Ruger.

For Colt, this is innovating. Their brand is synonymous with tradition, not 31 flavors. I like it and others they are producing nowadays, like the Wiley Clapp line.

Starbuck, it would make more sense for Walther to update the P5. The P5C is still a viable carry gun with increasing value, as is the P5 though more modestly. Problem is that Walther is conservative and slow to adapt/change (being a smaller company than Sig or Glock) even though the PPS and P99...

I was just at the park yesterday with my kids. I got home and checked my email, saw an email from the sheriff's office with a mugshot of a guy who is on parole, I'm guessing. Happens that I saw the same guy at the park looking sketchy, like he was up to something. You know the look of guilt...

Love my p89, sold other "better" guns but kept the p89. It's robust and I shoot mine with scary accuracy.

I'd like a 1911: love the grip angle, trigger, history, ability to modify, and recoil but the cost is always just a little out of reach, probably because I want an American made gun. Then, I weigh the potential for reliability issues and I keep browsing down the gun counter.

Plus, the bad guys, er... the Russians own PBR now. He needs a PPS.

Nice deal on that p90. Some would say the decocker only model is more desireable, if that's the one you got.

Friend of mine has a p89 in 9mm, nice shooting gun with great accuracy. After shooting my polymer guns, the brick like Ruger feels like an old school Oldsmobile compared with some plasticky import ride. I'm thinking of the Nissan I had in college - went to change the tire and the jack went right...

Mine did the same when new. After about 200 rounds or so, no failures at all. I kinda worried at first, but just kept shooting it.
