Changing BBWC and load 38 Special

I loaded several boxes of Speer 4605 BBWC for my Dads 38 special. A few months ago he called and said he was down to 2 boxes. He really likes these paper punchers and I couldn't find them anywhere. So I bought the Lee 358 148 gr WC mold and had a local guy cast 500 for me. When my dad called he...

    What would you do?

Its time to buy a rifle for my 10 yr old son. My girlfriend enjoys shooting so she would use it too. A few months ago I went to an estate sale and the lady running it told me to take everything on this table for a dream of a price. It was a load of RCBS reloading tools. This guy must've been a...

    WCC headstamp 9mm

I just got a 27 lb box of 9mm brass from a police range. There were a bunch of WCC head stamps with the years 1986 & 1987. These did not have a crimp and do not look swaged. Did WCC also make law enforcement ammo without a crimp on the primer? There was also some marked WCC 9mm Luger. Anyone...

    Lee 358 148 WC data

Hey guys a Little help I'm making up some 38 spec loads for my dad. I have always used the Speer WC #4605 for his loads. Last summer I couldn't find any WC's, so I bought a Lee mold and a friend cast 500 for me. I set up to seat them and the cannelure on the Lee WC is higher on the bullet...

    RCBS - Impressed

In a time when corporations are making every excuse to cut back or deny guarantees, RCBS is still good on their word. I have been handloading for about 30 years now. It started with a lee loader putting together 30-30's with my Grandad in the 80's. Over time he and I have collected quite a few...

    30-30 Case trim length

I've always trimmed my brass to 2.028 or 2.029. I purchased some pre-processed brass that is shorter, anywhere from 2.023 to 2.025. The SAAMI diagram shows 2.039-0.020. I assume that means the brass can be as short as 2.019. Has anyone shot with brass this short?
