    Ammo stolen off of porch!

I haven't had stuff stolen, but I have had a lot of problems especially with UPS. They use to claim they had attempted delivery, and never even stopped by my place. Once I was sitting on the front porch at the exact same time that they stated they attempted delivery. Lol, I watched the truck...

For those who carry two handguns....

I always carry at least 2. Either 2 Gen 4, G 33's in 357 SIG, or 2 Gen 3, G 39's in 45 GAP. I usually will pocket carry a G 42 as well. I'm handicapped and quite frankly, I want to be able to grab a gun with either hand and be able to defend myself immediately. All are totally concealed at...

Chicago already cracking down on CCW instructors

I'm in PA. I do understand that in IL the law requires a full 16 hrs of mandated training. Here in PA, there is no "mandated" training. The sheriff will probably recommend you get some training though. We have the second largest number of concealed carry holders in the nation. We have a LTCF...

    Glock 39 the 45 caliber alternative to a Glock 26 or 27

I love the GAP pistols and cartridge. I just picked up another G39 NIB, Blue Label with Glock night sights on Friday. It also had 2 mags with Pearce plus 1 base plates. Nothing like a baby Glock with 8 rounds of 45 goodness. I feel that the GAP is equal to or higher velocity than 45 ACP in...

    Do I need a .45GAP?

I'm not sure why either NY or PA State Police are transitioning away from the GAP. What I do know is that more PA troopers shot Marksman with the GAP than they had with any previous weapons. I also know that all of the officer involved shootings that took place in both NY and PA ended with the...

    Do I need a .45GAP?

For those of you who insist the 45 GAP is a solution to a non existent problem, I disagree. I am not new to handguns. I've had a PA LTCF for 40 yrs. and for 30 of those carried some type of 1911 (mostly Colts). I have small hands for a man, and the G21/G30 platform was def like a brick. When...

Remember 22lr ammo at this price?

I remember buying and shooting a brick of Squire Binghams for $8.99 twice a week in the early 80's. I think the Fed 36 gr hp were $9.99 through the late 80's. As always, stay safe.

    Got a windfall, considering a Ruger SR-22,,,

Hello all: I purchased an SR22 for my dtrs. to use in June/2012. It turned out to be such a fun gun, I picked up another one for me this June. Both feed every 22lr that we have tried in it, from bulk packs to mini mags. Get one and enjoy it. As always, stay safe.

    Best .45 ACP for concealment

Hello all. I would vote for a Gen 3 G30 or G30SF, or the new G30S. If you want a Gen 4 go for the new G30 they are all 10 rds. of 45ACP goodness. This is in a compact pkg. You can carry the G21 13 rd mags for back up if you like. As always stay safe.

Poll: In past year did you take new shooter to the range? comment if you did.

Hi all, this is my first post. Not a new shooter, I've had my LTCF for 40 yrs now. I have been taking my dtrs. to the range for years, mostly shooting 22LR. My one dtr. turned 23 in Dec. and 3 days later said, daddy let's go to LGS I'm going to get my first gun. She bought a Bersa Thunder 380...
