Hey guys I just bought about 300-308 win brass, about 2/3 are lake city or twin city with date stamp from 1968-1992, they feel heavier than Winchester ect.... Any reason not to use them if they inspect ok. Thanks Jason

So I guess my question is do I buy a model with a junk stock and buy the b&c, try to find an action only...

Would it be alright to wash the cases with dish washing soap. Would the case lube cause the smoke at firing

Yea it's 4064, bought it from a new shipment at a dealer, remington 6 1/2 primers, double checked the weight because I wasn't the one shooting. It could be lube in the case, how would I clean them if so.....also on another note some of the primer pockets look smaller (crimped) how do I remedy...

I've got a Lee breach lock press and just started loading. While seating bullets and checking oal, I noticed the length was pretty erratic. Seemed the more I loaded the shorter they got, started at 1.130 and saw 1.128, 1.125, 1.127 , ect. Any ideas Thanks

Actually bought them not knowing they were mags, turns out that's all they had anyway and the store is 2 1/2 hours from home. I called back and asked about them, they said just start at the min charge.
