Gun Amnesty in Australia Produces Mostly "Rubbish Guns" According to Expert

We need to think about these things before they happen in the US. I fear and believe that once the people who want to strip us of our guns accomplish their goal, in these times of technology NO amount of coming to our senses will be able to get Democracy back. Once the population is subjugated...

Did I do the right thing?

Kinda the way I did it. The intrusion was actually at the side entrance to my back yard. The back yard itself is very well lit and I have a window to the side. Just not bright enough to tell, especially with the flashlight beam in front of the "intruder" and my aging eyes. I stepped out the back...

Morons like this is why "we can't have anything nice".COLUMBIA, Mo. – A Missouri man told police he

HMMMM. Not that I would be the guy to do it, but in these days of possible armed terrorists I wonder what the law would say about a citizen chasing down someone who is armed and has shot at others already. Hero or convict?

Did I do the right thing?

A few nights ago I was watching TV late at night. (about 12:30ish) I saw a flashlight sweeping my back yard and as I looked closer I noticed that it was actually someone IN my yard. I was torn. I had my KelTec in my pocket. (always do) I decided to go out to see what was going on with my hand in...

Thinking of buying my first 1911

Sorry to hear that. I'm hoping that's one of the infamous earlier 10mm Witnesses. I had a minor problem with a different brand pistol that wanted me to ship it back on my dime but I got it from Bud's and they offered to pay the shipping. I ended up not taking them up on it because the problem...

National CCW for those supporting states right

They can do that NOW! What is your opposition to at least putting up another barrier that they need to get through?

National CCW for those supporting states right

I can understand the whole state's rights argument for other areas. The country wasn't founded on the premise that marijuana would be prohibited. This (constitutional carry) by it's very nature is a federal matter. The states have no rights to go against the constitution. It is THE founding...

National CCW for those supporting states right

Kinda' thought the second sentence spelled out what "infringe" means. A bill like this would be intended to end the "interpretative constitutionalist's" definition contortions.

National CCW for those supporting states right

What it should say is: Any attempt at the state, county, or city level to infringe on the second amendment shall hereby be deemed to be in violation of the constitution of the United States of America. No license, permit, fee, tax, or requirement, other than being a citizen in good standing of...

National CCW for those supporting states right

I'm not sure if a generalization is true, so please take my comment as a bit of tongue in cheek. At least ONE constitutional scholar that I know of seemingly studied the constitution for the sole purpose of getting around it but Trump succeeded him!

National CCW for those supporting states right

An infringement on a constitutional right is being used as an argument for another infringement. It shouldn't really be that tough to grasp the concept. I can't really see how that could go over anyone's head.

Thinking of buying my first 1911

Maybe. I wouldn't know. I have 3 EAA pistols and haven't needed customer support.

Thinking of buying my first 1911

If your looking for 1911 for the sake of having a 1911 that's great but another gun that suits your needs might be worth a look. The EAA Hunter is a 14+1 longslide 10mm that might work for you. Only thing it lacks is 1911ness.

Recommend me the best pocket carry

I believe the options aren't quite as numerous as some of these choices suggest. I contend that if you need to wear a belt, a compact in a IWB holster is just as, if not more convenient than pocket carry. It's not the size of many choices, it's the weight. I think anything much heavier than an...

Recommend me the best pocket carry

Whenever I wear a belt I carry compact 9mm or better in a IWB cheapy holster. Even when I do, though, I always have my KelTec P32 in my pocket. No belt? the P32 is still there. I know .32 acp isn't well regarded as a SD round but I really think the Underwood/Lehigh round actually makes it a...

That's the duo tone model. At the time I bought it there was a negligible difference in price.

Congrats! I luv mine. With 15 rounds of .45 I consider it an improvement over a CZ97.

semi auto or revolver for woman?

Supposedly very easy to rack and a soft shooter too, if you can, add a Remington R-51 to the list for her to try. Hearing some pretty good things about the "reboot" model.

Liberty Civil Defense .45 ACP +P 78 Grain Copper HP 1900 fps,

Not sure I'm sold on Lehigh in 9mm and up but I do like and use the Underwood .32 acp Xtreme cavitator in my .32 KelTec. Penetration AND wound channel in that caliber are head and shoulders above any other .32 ammo. IMO it makes the little .32 a very viable SD round. I might do the .380 if I had...
