    Primers

What a PITA. This Primer & Powder Crap is OLD at this point. I'm down to 3,500 primers and I guess I'm done. From what I've seen looks like the "NEW NORMAL" Price is $75/1000. If you don't have a Contact somewhere you're Screwed.

Need help..Dont understand this 30.30 stuff

And not to add CornFusion but my Choice of Contender Calibers for Deer and Hogs is a .30 Herrett. It's another 30-30 necked down and cut off. Mine will shoot a 5" group at a hundred yards with an Aimpoint. I shot the barrel out of my first one, unsure how many rounds but a lot over 12 years...

    What supplies do you want?

I read some people saw "this" coming. I started planning for today 25 years ago. I AM NOT A PREPPER but Dayum... I had about 18k in primers and 75 pounds of powder with (only 4 or 5k bullets) back in Feb. and so I've been lucky with finding bullets. Back in the 1990's I was buying 7.62...

First try at wet tumbling, how do I store my pins?

I guess I'm going to build a Wet Tumbler. Not all Stainless Steel is Stainless! If the pins are Low Quality (possibly from a place far away) I'd expect them to possibly rust. I'll post my Wet Tumbler once I get it built.

    223 primer seating woes

I started about 200 .223's last week. Primers were hanging, turning sideways and even upside down. I dug my RCBS Primer Pocket Swage out and fixed them. I haven't loaded any .223's in 10 years, SLOW and Labor intensive. I need to load another batch. OUCH! I like the Lyman tool in the...

    Once Fired Brass?

Recently I've bought 150 pounds of once fired brass so I Really don't need any more (and I'm going to run out of Primers). One of my suppliers said he has a 1,000 pounds that he offered me. (OUCH) I'm not really interested in getting into selling brass but was curious if people are having a...

The gun range seems empty these days.

All local ranges here are Busy. I went Wednesday and went right in. I asked about the slowest days and got "You Just Hit It. Most everyone has been having to Wait".

Ruger Sp101 as a concealed carry piece?

I carried a SP101 for a good many years. I like the gun but it is heavy. A couple years ago I found a Wiley Clapp and bought it. Wheel guns have gotten expensive.

    Walmart rifle closeouts

After I posted it got the best of me... And since it's HOT as Hell and I was waiting on a 9mm die I decided to ride 45 minutes to see if Walmart had either of the 2- 770's for $124. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a Sporting Goods person to appear. Checking the other Remington's in the case...

    Walmart rifle closeouts

OK... I just figured out something. If you load the Walmart App on your phone you can scan the Barcode from Brickseek and it will locate the stock for you. I just found 2 Remington's "near" me. Checking the GPS 43 minutes away. I'd like to Buy a $124 rifle but I really don't want to drive...
