Ahhh now i think we're getting somewhere..backstory my Uncle left me his reload kit and components (thank you Uncle) so ive gotten into reloading so ive been able to shoot during all these crazy times and so im slowly going thru stuff i dont have rifle or pistol for....so would these be the diesThose are 357 Herrett a wildcat popular in early T/C contenders
Mainly my boys shoot it...the rifle barrel and pistol barrel below are .223, then .357 herrett, 357mag and .22lr....my Uncle used the rifle for .223 silhouette competition back in the dayNo problem that and the 7mm TCU were all the rage back in the day. The 357 Herrett is a fine hunting round for medium game within reasonable range.
Nice Contender, I had one when they first came out.
.35 Whelen is a rimless cartridge, based on the .30-06 case.I'm not in to revamping cases to make other calibers.
Maybe 30/30 retofitted in to 35 whallen
.
Right. My bad I missed that! For info the 35 Rem is not a rimmed round. It is rimless like a 308, 300 Savage, or 30 Rem.
