    Reloading Suppliesyou can

Just got back from 2 days at a local Gun Show. 3 large rooms, very good turnout. This was the very first time there were NO PRIMERS at all available. At most of the shows here in Fla. you can almost always find primers if you are there 1st thing on the 1st day. I was the the day before as an...

My primer buying is on pause

As of yesterday in my 3 LDS there were 4 boxes of 9mm, about 25 boxes of 40 SW, and 2 boxes of 45 ACP. That was total for all 3 stores here in the Fl, Panhandle. Didn't look for Rifle ammo as my PCC fires 40SW.

My primer buying is on pause

What ticked me off was they advertise the Bass Pro down in Destin to have them and you go there and check and they say only in the Orlando Store. I'll look elsewhere from now on.

    Hi Point

I started loading all 3 mags and pushing down on the rear each shell and have had zero problems. Even when using hand held spring loader and doing it every 3rd shell I have had no problems since. Someone will come up with an aftermarket or HiPoint will get it together and get the problem fixed...

    Glocks and Powder Coated bullets.

So far I've learned to NOT shoot lead bullets through a Glock. I've learned you CAN shoot Lyman #2 Lead bullets from a Glock. I've heard Glocks hate them, Glocks like them Glocks are indifferent to them. Now I'm researching Powder Coated and the pros and cons. So far there doesn't seem to be a...

    Reloading Powders

Thanks everyone for your replies. I miswrote or badly communicated my wishes about reloading powders. I am extremely curious. I want to learn WHY a spherical powder is better for this than for that. WHy a slower burn rate for this type is better. Why less of the same powder is better for a...

    Reloading Powders

I have several books on Reloading with power amounts to bullet weight etc. What would you good people as a decent book on learning the ins and outs of powder. How to determine proper weight for proper burn rate etc. In short I'd like to learn how to determine my own loads. For example. I have...

    Hi Point

Each of the calibers have a different color follower. The 4095 have a green follower. and try pressing down the but end after each round is loaded. I haven't had any issues with mine since I was shown that by another Hi point owner. There is also a few You tube videos showing a fix that I haven't...

    HELP!

I.ve been shooting pistols since I was 12; I'm 66. My first shotgun at 14 was an old Harrington Richardson .410 single breakopen. The first and only automatic I.ve shot was the M16 in the 1970's. I received a Hi-point 4095 as a gift. It came with a red dot and iron sights. I have NO IDEA how to...

    Hi Point

Also try a trick I learned at my range. Besides the mags being crap (my ONLY complaint about my 4095) another shooter with the 4595 told me to press down on the base after loading each cartridge in the mag. It worked. I haven't had issues with them the last few times Iv'e fired them.

    Hi Point

Unfortunately NY is making just about EVERYTHING non compliant. My cousin is a NY State Trooper who resigned over Covid and even HE couldn't get approval for some rifles before he retired.

    Ordered a new Hi-Point C9

You do know the basic reason Taurus has bad Customer Service is they are made in Brazil. Their home base is in Sao Paolo and just the logistics of getting things back and forth helps make it bad. As long as you don't care if things are made in the USA I 've heard they are OK weapons.

    Ordered a new Hi-Point C9

I purchased the 4095 Carbine and I have found it to be more accurate than the SB2000 and other than the magazine (the nose drop issue which can be alleviated by pushing the rear down after ever shell is loaded.) I love the weapon. Being ugly has never been as important to me as accuracy...

    Hi Point

I just put 100 rounds through my new 4095 Hi Point (40 S&W) with iron sights it is remarkably accurate. I have a hard time hitting a barn from the inside with rifles. The recoil was almost non-existent and an ol boy at the range showed me a trick w/ the trigger which I was not comfortable with...

Why I hate black stocked rifles

Just an opinion but from my Great Grand, to Grand, to Father to me (ALL of whom served) their experience and mine up to 1980 proved to us at least that anyone who thinks the Government and the Military hierarchy have had the best interest of anyone except the Politicians and their supporters...

    Hi Point

Am looking at buying a Hi Point Carbine in 40 S&W. I've been trying to locate a Keltec Sub2000 in 40 cal for months, to no avail. It seems that the vast majority manufactured are 9mm so when the 40 becomes available the stores barely get them unpacked. One store where I live called several...
