I.ve been shooting pistols since I was 12; I'm 66. My first shotgun at 14 was an old Harrington Richardson .410 single breakopen. The first and only automatic I.ve shot was the M16 in the 1970's. I received a Hi-point 4095 as a gift. It came with a red dot and iron sights. I have NO IDEA how to sight in either; but would like to have the red dot as I'm 66 and can't see worth ****. ANy instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Red Dots sights are great for old eys like ours. Mount the dot, shoot a big piece of paper or cardboard at 25 yards, then use the click adjustments on the sight to get the impacts centered just like you would a scope.

Should be an allen wrench with the red dot, then you have to find the correct apertures for L/R and U/D.

You will want some sort of way to prop/support the pistol to provide a repeatable sort of "hold."

You may want decent glasses to "sharpen" the dot.
As with any sight, make your adjustments one-at-a-time. SO, start with left-right or up-down first, and get that one thing to where you want it. Then, adjust the other direction.

Once you are comfortable with the sight, and picking up the dot (this can definitely be aided by practice), then move your sighting-in target back, and adjust as needed.
Since you are getting the red dot to hit to point-of-impact, you can then adjust the iron sights to match that as much as possible.
