    Multi caliber suppressor

Yeah in that case diffentily get a user serviceable suppressor. If you stick to atleast plated bullets it doesn't matter. But for cast and powder coated you will need to clean it regularly. Dip method is the best way to remove lead build up. You can Google it for details. Basically you soak the...

    Multi caliber suppressor

I'd also say your going to want a pistol can. The hybrid cans are pretty bulky and heavy. Honestly even a 45 can is kind of big on a typical 9mm pistol. But a good .45 can will cover most any pistol. If you aren't shooting cast you normally don't need to clean a center fire can. The welded cans...

Increased value of an un-fired gun?

This is pretty much how I look at it also. If I come across something used that has next to no wear on it at all. It makes me a little nervous. I personally have several friends that if they have a problem with a firearm they trade or sell it off instantly. Even newer ones that they could send...

Dillon XL 650 and 9's, AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

Yes exactly. It's a cheaper less reliable system. Spill a little powder on it and see what happens. If a primer doesn't feed you have no visual indicator like on the 650. The only positive of it to the end user is the ability to swap from small to large primers easier.

Dillon XL 650 and 9's, AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

If you are buying upgrades for your 650. Absolutely be sure to get the pause button for the primer feeder. Hands down the single best aftermarket add on IMO. BTW it's not called a pause button. That is basically what it does.

Dillon XL 650 and 9's, AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

I do not clean my primer pockets on 9mm. I dry tumble my brass with the spent primers in. Then run them through the Dillon. If you are decapping and then dry tumbling. There is a pretty good chance you are getting media stuck in some of the primer pockets. IME, You pretty much have to inspect...

Dillon XL 650 and 9's, AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

I've loaded more rounds on my Dillon 650 then I care to count. I've had to replace a few parts and I've done most of the upgrades mentioned in this thread. I don't think it's a problem with the press design. Primers not going off is either bad primers, not seated primers or your brass is out of...

PDWs and ARs in pistol calibers.....

I have a few PCCs or PDW type Firearms. Mostly they are just for fun. I do have a couple that fall into that get home bag or truck gun role. HD firearm is an 8" 300 blk. Because I can run subs with a suppressor in the house or swap the mag out for supers and pop a coyote or a racoon out in the...

    Subsonic 300Blk

I use Ac1680 for that bullet, but I load them for either a 8" or 10 barrel. Both with pistol length gas. So my load data is no help. They work well and are quiet. Chrono at around 1025fps. I had a buddy take a deer with one a couple of months ago at about 40 yards. Said it dropped him pretty quick.

In Your Opinion, What Is The Best Bullpup Shotgun?

I've had mine a while. It's had a good amount of rounds through it. It's pretty simple design really. It's actually really easy to fully disassemble and re assemble. I've ran everything from slugs to bird shot. Probably more slugs then anything really. It cycles mini shells NP. But yeah prices...

    Brass storage

So my loading area is climate controlled now, But at one time all my reloading stuff was in a none climate controlled garage. We have high humidity often. So much so my dies and tool heads would get surface rust on them pretty fast if I didn't wipe them down with oil on a regular basis. Copper...

In Your Opinion, What Is The Best Bullpup Shotgun?

I'm sure you know but the m&p 12 had a safety recall for barrels cracking. I guess they have it worked out now. If you get one, you just want to make sure it's not effected by the recall. FWIW I have a KS7 and I absolutely love it. I've had zero problems with it. I don't care for the KSG as the...

Excessive Sig Parts Cost - Coiled Spring Pin $6.00? YIKES!

I don't typically completely strip my Firearms to clean them. I could, I've just never seen the need. Normally if I fully strip something, it's because a part is getting replaced. But I also don't even clean them after shooting them lol. I have a 365 and a 365xl. I do clean those often though...

    9MM XTreme 124 and W231

That's what I would do. FWIW I load those same bullets/powder the C.O.A.L. 1.150. That's from Xtreme's loading data. I have a PDF of their load data. Which you can get for free from their sight. Reloading is fun. Once you do it a little you will get a feel for it.

    9MM XTreme 124 and W231

Diffentily true, But I really think his scale is off. That charge with 231 would be around 1000fps. The 115gr factory ammo he listed average around 1150fps. His handloads at the starting load shouldn't feel night and day difference over range ammo. It was enough of a difference that he posted...

    9MM XTreme 124 and W231

It is most likely your scale is off. I use win 231 all the time. I load 124gr to 4.4gr. At 4.4 I wouldn't consider them hot rounds really. They are full power. AT 3.9 gr with a 124gr bullet that would be a light plinking load. That's basically the starting load. Since that feels noticeably hot...

    Gun range fatality

They probably haven't released much info because they don't know yet. My guess is they are trying to figure out if the shot came from his firearm or someone else's. Then try to work out what happened. As far as the suicides and rental guns. It's happened here at a range. I 100% get why ranges...

Subsonic 9mm or .45, does one suppress better than the other?

I diffentily don't have any scientific evidence. Lol. Just going off how it sounds to me and others. Could even come down to tone and pitch too. Like how some cans just sound better then others even if they aren't quieter. I know just the past weekend I had a buddy who had some Underwood ammo...

    digital gun safes

Just ease of access. My home defense Firearms are not in my gun safes. I have one of those hide away mirrors beside my bed. I keep my edc and a rifle there at night. Doesn't really even have a lock. Flip a hidden lever at the top to open it. It's just to keep them out of sight and to keep them...
