You should be ashamed! You corrupted yet another young person with the gift of the REVOLVER. :)
I remember when I was about 15. A friend of our family was a Ruger collector and showed me a Single Action 4 5/8", stainless steel Ruger Blackhawk. I was mesmerized by the stainless finish, the...
I think it depends on your reasoning for purchase like so many have called out. Purchase as an investment or purchase as a tool? I have an old Anaconda that I bought to shoot deer with and I did just that. When Colt discontinued the anaconda, I boxed it up, thew it in the safe and bought a...
fully shrouded similar to the S&W bodyguard (Model 49). I can still cock the hammer for SA precision work and the no snag factor so best of bothe worlds. Some say the original bodyguard is ugly but I absolutley disagree. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I guess we could say that being shot in the arm with a 9mm isn't a fight ender? Based on 455's additional info?
It's amazing though that it went through his arm and into his chest. Wow!!
I wonder what caliber the FBI uses today as their official caliber? certainly not the 9mm I suspect :)
I used to be a super magnum fan. Now, I find the smaller calibers interesting: 25, 32 and 380 are really fun. The big dogs are hangin at the bottom of the safe.
I have 1 with a lock - just because it was a 44 mag mountain gun that I needed at the time. I'll always pass on a frame lock smith. Nothing wrong with them but I don't like em. Pinned and recessed all the way!
I use 38 special LSWC loaded to Max SAAMI specs for 38 special. Almost too much to handle in my snubbies but proven effective however my 3 and 4" 357's make them feel like a pop gun.
Plus I can put all 6 of those shots in man size target in 50 yards :)
I think that the gun community has been sold on the idea that we need +p, +p+, etc for all of our beloved old time calibers. I've read so many articles that declare the 22 LR ineffective, the 25 ACP ineffective, the 32 ACP ineffective and the 380 is even kind of lite for personal defense...
