I get ~ 1230 fps with 158 gr bullets out of my 2.25" SP101. That's about equal to a hot 4" 40 S&W. Not too shabby for a 2.25" barrel. I like the way the 2.25 fits in my jeans pockets. It's not too heavy for me, though others seem to have some dislike of the 2.25" as a pocket gun. Mike G.
