I own well over 1000 rounds of S&W 32 Long WC ammunition. Is there any small relatively inexpensive handgun that I can buy to shoot it?
I should be more specific, a gun made in the past 50 years and costing less than $500.
I did a lot of searching and found Ranch Products to be way less expensive for full moon clips for my 625JM. You have to contact them by email to get their catalog. It is worth the effort.

Hoss,
Here's the deal. Got to http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/revptmn.htm
Buy Jerry's DVD on S&W Actions and the spring kit. Watch the DVD all the way through. Then take it step-by-step as Jerry goes through it.
My 625 JM went from somewhere over 12 pounds DA (my scale only goes to 12...
Thanks for the reply Bill.
My first suspicion was my case dimensions. I do use a Lee FCD. I did mic my cases and compared them to factory loads. My cases are the same as the factory loads that do drop in the case. I loaded one round and set the OAL way below the minimum. It dropped in the...
I know it sounds off topic but it isn't. I am just starting reloading. I am using a Lee Pro1000. It is working fine. I first tried Rainier 124gn Fp bullets at 1.095 oal. They did not feed. I upped the OAL to 1.12. Now they make it out of the magazine and into the breech. The problem is the round...
This is a great thread! So many good ideas.
Here are a couple that I find usefull.
I use a Lee Pro1000. The primer feed is very sensitive to dirt and dropped powder. I use a short length of small diameter tube to blow the junk out of the area around the primer feed and ram. Just put the...
I just installed a Lee bullet feeder on my Pro1000 press. When I tested it everything moved but the bullet. I am attempting to load 9mm Ranier 124grn FP bullets. The problem is that the bullet is taller than the feed opening in the loader.
I figure I must be missing something basic here...
Slim,
I just did a load of 9mm brass. I ran it a little over an hour and they looked great. The paddles are 1 1/2" aluminum angles. Two of them are plenty. If you go to a 3/4" cold rolled steel rod you could put an awful lot of weight on it. You could also set up parallel sets of rollers...
Tenbase you are right on the mark about the rollers being parallel. Mine are very close but the carboy does tend to move to one side. I added the bearing on the post.
Fred, I had a piece of 5/8" cold rolled rod and used automotive hose for the rollers. I like the simplicity of using oak...
In the process of gearing up to reload I researched all the tools. I got a lot of great information on this forum. One of the things that seems over priced to me is case tumblers. On Midway's web sight they have owners comments on many different tumblers. The only consistently good comments were...
I am in the middle of building a loading bench, building a tumbler, reading both the A, B, C's of Reloading and the 2nd Edition of the Lee book, and wanting desperately to get started. And I have a question before go further.
I have about 2000 rounds of once fired 45 ACP brass. Much of it is...
I apologize if this was already answered. I searched and came up dry.
I am trying to build a round that is very close in performance to the government issue 45 acp ball round.
Does anyone know a combination of components to do that?
Thanks.
I am curious to know if this stuff works in the revolvers mentioned in this thread?
At one time I used it in a Pardini semi-auto for International Centerfire competition. Now the Pardini is long gone and I have quite a bit of this ammunition left.
If it works I either need to find a...
