Lee Bullet Feeder ?

I just installed a Lee bullet feeder on my Pro1000 press. When I tested it everything moved but the bullet. I am attempting to load 9mm Ranier 124grn FP bullets. The problem is that the bullet is taller than the feed opening in the loader.

I figure I must be missing something basic here because this is certainly not a long bullet. The instructions do not mention this.

Any ideas?

If I remember correctly they make different feeders for different length bullets. You may have gotten a short one.

I bought one from MidwayUSA for 9mm and .6 to .75" long. I use it for 147g Rainiers. It worked great and then broke after about 2000 rounds. I'm not going to replace it. Setting them by hand isn't that bad.
