I would like some scope recommendations for a .22 PRS scope in the sub $100.00 price range. I have a Heavy Barreled 10/22 on a Boyds stock and a BSA Sweet 22 scope. I have not shot a match yet but want to start and outfit a Marlin bolt gun too. My current scope is zeroed at 100 yards and I...
According to Sarah her organization is mounting pressure today on the Senate to "take action and update background checks". Is the Senate considering anything specific or has Everytown just chosen today to pester the Senate??
I would like to find the original "poster" or at least a better quality jpeg of the image on this webpage;
http://www.gun-shots.net/gun-control-works-great-if-youre-the-one-who-controls-the-guns.shtml
The picture and caption pretty much sums things for me. I have copied the image using my...
A lot of people confuse the terms "high powered" and "high capacity" out of ignorance or even wish, for propaganda purposes, to use them interchangeably.
While the 5.56 round is not a high powered round it is powerful enough to be a military round. The antis believe the scarier they make guns...
I don't believe Walmart's decision to stop selling ARs was political just business. Their prices were high and there are so many vendors in the market they were not moving enough product to justify tying up their money.
I have been buying .22lr lately because the price is coming down not because of recent events. I did however buy 5 Troy Industries AR magazines because of Sunday's events. A couple of these were on my want list and I was going to get them sometime this month anyway but for $9.00 I got 3 instead...
Don't be too confident!
Reloading components are just as subject to panic buying as guns & ammunition. When Obama was elected and to a much greater extent after Sandy Hook powder and primers dried up for a long time. I am a competition shooter and had to struggle to find components both times.
Even with the events of this weekend I don't look for panic buying just yet simply because I feel the firearns market is is at a "saturation point". Most people have bought what they wanted by now especially after Sandy Hook. I do think firearms sales will experience some type of spike this fall...
To Midwest and those in KY;
Hang in there!!
I don't know if you have an organization like WVCDL there but if possible I would urge you to form one. I realize this is not always feasible (the NRA will help if you need it) but if it were not for the one here in WV along with the NRA we would not...
I would like to give a BIG Thanks to Keith Morgan and the members & associates of the West Virginia Citizens Defense League for helping us give Michael Bloomberg a big single finger New York Howdy!!!!!!. Without their tireless efforts in introducing the bill last year and supporting it thru 2...
The newer 45acp Redhawks I have seen are wearing smooth grips so I would tend to think they have stopped making the checkered ones. Based on an email I got I think Pachmyr might begin making a rubber grip for the RB Redhawk and if they do you might find some checkered ones for sale.
Upon doing some seaching it does seem what while guns are not totally forbidden are difficult at best to legally obtain.
One gun store in the entire country??
I didn't know they made the .44mag Redhawk in a round butt - thought it was new with the .45acp. Anyway that .44 really looks nice in the short barrel. Tonight I put a Pachmyr Gripper on my Redhawk and it is a workable fit.
