    Schmidt & Bender or USO?

I am almost finished getting a McMillan .50 BMG assembled. It will be used in FCSA competition. I have not decided on a scope yet, but I have narrowed it down to either a S&B 5-25 PMII or one of US Optics SN series. SN-3 or SN-9. I have used many scopes, including Leupold, Nightforce, and...

    Any F-Class shooters here?

I have competed with a .30-284, and a .300 Win. I know the current rage for the very long range guys is in the 6mm and 6.5 mm area, but I just love my .30's. There are no muzzle brakes allowed as stated earlier, so the bigger calibers get a little tiresome to shoot. Overall I think I have...

    Ferret news

I recently picked up a .50 action from McMillan in Phoenix. I was really torn between the MCM and the Ferret. Yes it is a Lilja. Two inch diameter at the breach, 38 inches in length. No on the elephants- only used for defense against paper at 1000 yds.

    new baby

Well I've gone and done it now. I had to take a photo of the new baby. The "little one" is a Winchester .300 magnum. The little bit larger one is a McMillan .50 cal repeater action. The barrel is on the way from Montana and the stock will be finished in a few weeks. Holy cow this thing is...

.50 Shooters, can I get some advice?

One more FCSA member here... Take a look at http://www.ferret50.com/ I have read many great things about the Ferret Arms rifles. A few of them have done quite well in competition as well. I am currently building a rifle on a McMillan action, but this may be a little more than you are...
