I used to watch the fast draw competitions as a teenager at Regional Fairs in Humboldt County when I was young. I was fascinated with the different methods and where the shooter wore his holster. Most wore the holsters low just above the knees so as to draw faster.

Can you tell by the serial #? There is an "M" on the rt side of the trigger guard. There is a "C" on the left side of the trigger guard. The serial # is 245PY18735.
How much is it worth? It is in excellent condition.

This is a 12 gauge (I think), single shot. I am trying to figure out the maker/manufacturer. Is this worth anything?, or just a fun keeper? I bought it a an estate sale in Olympia, WA.
