What do you mean? I've heard the finish wears off but it's stronger than the chasis of an AR-15. As far as breaking or anything, unless you run over it with a car, probably not. I've heard nothing but good things about this carbon stuff.

Nevermind, visited the website again and found the receiver and rifle. Rifle is steep. So are the receivers, which are listed as sold out. So how exactly are they doing this for under 1K??

The Carbon-15 provides a 40% increase in strength over the aluminum. I see no reason why it wouldn't be as reliable as a regular AR-15.
