    RV'ing With Firearms

Yes, we always pack while RV'ing. SA XD-45 for me and either her Bersa or S&W Airweight 38. Good idea to bring a long gun too.

How do you get your sig other to deal with you obsesion?

I'm fortunate too. My wife of 25 years got me into the shooting sports. Now I'm more of a fanatic than she is, but that doesn't stop her from buying a "tool" or two for her own use. She's got a CWP as well. She's also understanding about my survival preps, but that's part of living in...

How much time do you spend on the highroad?

Not as much as I should. I split time between several sites, all providing good information (and some entertainment as well).

Miami, Sunny South Florida. It's a world of difference from Jacksonville, but still in the Gunshine State!

Excuse me officer, but I have a gun

Notifying the officer is not a requirement in Florida. LEO's in Florida also do not have any information regarding whether or not you have a Concealed Weapons Permit. That said, I would always present License, Permit and proof of insurance together and await further questions/instructions...

Springfield Armory doesn't like making money???

Wow! I've never had a shortage of SA's here in Miami. In fact I picked up a SA GI 1911 HiCap a few gun shows back. Plenty at the last show. I'll let you know what I see today.

Many people prepare for the SHTF situation from a home perspective. Here in Sunny Florida, we've been preparing for years to counter the realities of Hurricanes. Each year, we adapt and improve our plans. Our Pantry is stocked for the family to get by for a period of 5 days minimum. Ever...

What he said. Get whatever works for You. You need to be comfortable, smooth and accurate with whatever you choose above all else.

What do u think of the SW M&P .40?

I've got the Taurus 24/7 Pro .45 and love it. Bought my wife the M&P .40 and we both love it. Good gun, got a factory demo for a great price. With the Multiple backstraps, it's easy to change out for comfortable carry for either me or her.

Arkansas Senator Files "Castle Doctrine" Bill

Que the "This will turn into the Wild West" articles.....just like they did in Florida. It hasn't. (surpirse....surprise). Hope it passes. Write your Legislators, contact the NRA, get invovled.

    Decision Time Folks~!

I've been toying with the idea of a Taurus PT-1911 for a while. I like the features/value for the money. I currently own a Taurus PT-45 sub compact (carry weapon), Taurus PT-145 24/7 Full size 45 Auto and both have worked flawlessly for me. In addition, they carry a lifetime warranty which is...

What do YOU carry, and exactly how often do you carry it?

It varies on what I'm wearing and where I'm going. My usual carry is a SA GI 1911 HiCap. I also frequently carry a Taurus PT145 (flame suit on). On occasion, I also carry my wife's Bersa Thunder .380. I do carry, all the time. Like American Express, I never leave home without it.
