General Opinions on the Glock 23

Good topic. My G23 has eaten every thing from reloads to +p you name it. Never flinched 2000 rounds just breaks it in. Everything is still as tight as if it was new, seriously. 13 rounds; snag free edges; the option of larger capacity factory magazines; 40 cal just sounds nice when other people...

What Is A Fair Price For My Sig P220 .45

650 in fine don't let these people tell u other wise. Is that 200 hydrashocks? If so locally its about 25 bucks for a box of 20 rounds. So thats 550 for the gun plus thier getting 200 dollars worth of ammo for 100 bucks. Most stores would charge way more. He or she is getting a good deal.

How safe is to keep a pistol in your car?

Not a fan of car/truck guns. Only if you have to. I hate going places where my firearm isn't permitted.

    Cheapest 1911?

Your Talking about the grips with the Punisher symbol on them. The Skull? Best bet would be to Google some variation of "Punisher" and the word "Grips" or "1911". To be honest you'd be better off with the Houge rubber grips with the finger grooves. Nice look and very comfortable. I once...

    Auto of Choice

I'd go with a Sig. Sig's the gun I wanted, Glocks the gun I got. Recently bought me a Sig P220. The Glock is now a neglected child.(sort of) For carry I choose my Glock, For the range and home defense I choose my Sig. Which is the gun that everyone thinks is sexy, handles better and at the...

Black Friday = Range Day... = Awesome!!!

I had the honor to recently purchase a used Sig P220. But waited till today to range test it. It's my first used gun and I was hesitant. I learned from these forums. The two most common guns with cult like followings were Sig's and Glock's. Those two are the two majority holders in the...

    want one...45ACP... but so many!!!!

I'm with everyone whom said the Sig220. I just bought a previously loved model for under $500 OTD. To be honest it might as well had been new. Spot on accuracy. In all honesty it's one of the most comfortable pistols I've had the honor to handle. Makes my Glock23 look like a neanderthal...

New Family Member. Officially a Sig guy!!!

I just bought a pre loved Sig 220. A complete impulse buy, something happened after he threw out gun prices that made me just throw down money. Like new condition and a decent price, they even threw in an extra mag and Hogue grips. The grip feels so nice. I really couldn't say no. Haven't...

    Taurus Customer Service Rant

I trust Taurus clones, PT92/PT1911 but thier poly offerings wont every be on my wasit. I really respect and trust the PT92. One of my favorite pistols hands down. But still won't buy a 24/7 or Mil Pro.

New gun - Clean before shooting?

I shot my Glock out the box with 200 rnds with out a Hiccup. Got 1300 rounds through it with out a single problem ammo or gun related. All carry pieces need to be as flawless or why trust it? And to be honest, the gun store I shop at has an indoor range and it's hard not to shoot it before...

    ccw question

Go with a Glock. There the Honda of the gun world. Good reliability and wide aftermarket. Your other choices are similar, which is the reason I mention it. I prefer metal guns, its a fact, but when it comes to plastic I'll only buy Glock.

    Biggest surprise, biggest disappointment???

surprise: Taurus PT92 17+1 in stainless. We use to call it the Feretta(fake Beretta) now we call it the Taurus respectfully. Handled more of these then any other firearm and have never been disappointed. Easy disassembly; affordable at under $400; accurate as all hell; and reliable which is the...

    Need A 9mm.

Most likely I'll carry my Glock. I just want a good nine to take the test with. I just realized "The Souther Classic gun&knife show" is coming to Central Florida. I also noticed that it's inbetween pay days. I'll hope that theres a bunch of excess guns that will flood the market after the...

    Need A 9mm.

Size doesnt matter, I just need something speicifly to take my test with. Ruger and Taurus seem to be where my money will likely go unless I can find a Stoeger or older metal frame S&W auto.

    Need A 9mm.

I'm about to get my CCW and need advice on a 9mm. I own a 40cal Glock.(Glock23) But never have shot it well. Glocks and 40cal in general. There's a few 9mm's in my mind for accuracy; reliability; and affordability. Taurus PT92 17+1 in stainless. One of my favorite guns, hands down...
