I will say this "If you put a clip through someone and they are still coming at you, at least you can beat them with the empty 22..." I would rather have a empty 22 that I can beat someone with then nothing @ all.....:D
If I'm not mistaken I think the S & W Model 410 is a ambidextrious 40. I was looking @ one last week in the local gun shop. From what I understand ccw is one of the reasons S & W makes this model...this is what I am being told @ the gun shop. There are almost no aftermarket parts available for...
Does anyone know where I can purchase aftermarket grips for my 22A? I have searched hogue and pachmayr and they don't list anything...Any help will be greatly appreciated..Thanks
I looked when I got home from work and on the bottom of the receiver it says "New Haven by Mossburg, then 600ast"... I asked my dad and he said he tried to put a scope on it a while back and he couldn't find a mount that would fit it...I don't know, maybe I should leave it be and start shooting...
I do a bit of goose hunting and I use the Remington Heavy shot in a 3 1/2" nothing smaller then #2 shot. But I am usually shooting @ 35 yards or better. That heavy shot really knocks them big honkers out of the air....I hope this helps.
Has anyone heard of a Mossburg 600? My father gave me one years ago and I wanted to get another barrell for it but I can't find anything on it. Mossburgs website doesn't even acknowledge the model.....

I agree, it will unlock the bolt if it's hit hard enough, but when we were looking @ his gun we would very gently put it down and it would unlock the bolt. I haven't seen anything like it since, It was a very very light spring.....And he was shooting 3 1/2 t shot loads....
I had a friend that had a brand new M1 right out of the box that the spring was weak on. We went goose hunting and when the first set of birds came in his gun didn't go off...He thought we had messed with it....When the next set of birds came in his gun didn't go off again. We got to looking @...
I own both a 10/22 and a marlin 60 and I have to say I haven't had any problems w/ either of them. I like the versatility of the 10/22 much better, there are aftermarket parts readily available for whatever you want to do. If I had to only have one it would be the ruger.....
I'm thinking about buying one of these from a friend. It's in great shape and well taken care of. However I don't know much about it and I would like to see what you guys thought. It's a 22 magnum with a 3x9x32 bushnell scope and asking $225.....I'm just looking to see if it's a reliable 22...
