    New Revolver Convert Signing In.

Those two are real purdy. When we get our house sold I'll be keeping my eyes open for one of those. I've got fairly big mitts myself, their not meaty but I wear a XL work glove, and the 442 just sort of melts into my hand. I can naturally point shoot it almost as well as if I took my time and...

    New Revolver Convert Signing In.

I'm not new to guns, but have not shot too many revolvers, just my dad's 686 and an old Heritage .22 cal a few times. Right before Christmas I got an itch for a small revolver and ended up "impulsively" buying and S&W 442 over a Ruger LCR, and the S&W Bodyguard while browsing through the gun...

    Browning Knives

There will be tons of offerings, but one of the best bang for buck knives would be the Kershaw Field knife. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

    Christmas guns?

I've been using one of those for years. The trigger is a little heavy, but it's a good reliable shooter. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

Smith & Wesson's M&P: what do yall think?

Babalouie What trigger job did you have done the standard, or the competition? I just bought a M&P 9mm last week and used it to compete in my second ever USPSA match. The fun only had 225 rounds through it when I started the match. So I wasn't expecting great things, since I really wasn't...

    Kershaw Sapphire

I picked a Sapphire up on eBay a few months ago. It's not a heavy user, but it's a nice little gents knife.

    Best Point & Shoot Gun

I haven't found anything that points better for me than the Steyrs. Although the XD the fellow at the range let me shoot did feel pretty natural.

    Decision Time: XD-40 vs XD-45

In my experience with my wife, a comfortable grip trumps how big the hole is at the end of the barrel. She prefers to shot my 1911 over my Steyr 9mm because it fits her hand better. Of course... ymmv.;)

    Taurus PT1911 or alternatives?

+1 They may be a little hard to find, but a good used DW will put you the price range your looking for and you'll have a heck of a gun.

Help from the collective knowledge of THR

A friend of mine is looking to pick up a CCW piece. He's been without one for a little while and is looking to fill the void. He sent me an email asking for advice, but I don't have enough experience with the pistols he was asking about to give solid advice. Here is what he asked: "I am...

    YOUR FAVORITE SEMI-AUTO PIC THREAD......

I like to shoot my 1911 a lot but I'm going to have to go with my Steyr, because 90% of the time I carry, I carry my Steyr S40 and I always shoot my Steyr S9 when I go to the range (9mm is just too cheap not to).

    1911, here I come!

I picked up a Dan Wesson Panther for around $500 after shipping and transfer fees. It came with beaver tail safety, XS sights, skeleton hammer and trigger (the trigger was very nice out of the box, around 3lbs). The things I changed was the thumb safety, the slide stop, put in an arched MSH...
