    FTF and FTE issues with a Universal M1 Carbine

    them things are a mess.tear it down and take a look at the gas block,and the operating springs.if looks ok clean it real well and lube all the contact points on the bolt. I had a blow by problem on my gas block,a little peening at the leak solved the "short cycling" problem...jwr
