pipe bombs ??

not sure this goes here. was flipping thru the chanels the other day ,and on one of the "Swamp people/Swamp thing/Swamp brothers"was a couple of guys pulling 100 year old logs off the swamp bottom,and to dislodge them,they were making and using pipe bombs.I thought bomb building was a Federal Govt. no-no. thanks...jwr
