Leather lace-up recoil pad for 336 marlin

Keep in mind, my covers are not recoil pads. I would put a nice recoil pad on it and then I can make a nice cover and sling to cover it up and match to accent your rifle with some cartridges on the side of the cover.

Ya'll probably know Tom Gresham and his show www.guntalk.com. Well I am a member of the truth squad and I listen to his podcast's every week. (Mainly cause if I am not hunting on Sunday, I am in Church during his program.) Anyway, he has a no shrug policy and I am trying to step up to the...

    38-55 vs 35 Remington

35 Rem. packs a better whallop and less expensive to get than 38-55. I reload and cast my own bullets so my Marlin 93 in 38-55 is not expensive to reload for. I bought a box of 20 38-55's and it cost me $36 bucks. I bought a set of dies at the same time.:D I just got two orders for Butt...

    Fire Safes and Gun Rust.

Under your circumstances, I would invest in descicant bags and wipe my guns down with a light coat of oil once a month, just to make sure. Also make sure you keep the door to the safe closed as much as possible.

    Marlin .45-70 for deer?

I am trading some leather work for an 1893 Marlin Model 94 in 38-55. I will be casting and loading it with Black powder. Nematocyst-870 FYI, you can not shoot black powder in all 45-70 guns. The guide gun is a good example. The rifling is too fast and the powder will gum things up and you...

    Custom Rifle scabbard.

Yes, that would seem the best, but it is not wise to have it up front because it is not protected that way. It will be the first thing hit when going through the brush and such. This ain't the movies...You are not going to be taking shots from the bakc of the horse. You probbably won't be...
