I had a "friend" negligently discharge his 9mm in my vehicle one time (bullet went through the right passenger side window). Both windows were closed, and the pain was intense in the ears. I noticed that the left side hurt worse than the right side, because the sound bounced off my window...
SIG!
love the P series, though I think the hi-power is the worlds best pistol - EVER
so ya gotta own some of 'em all: sigs, hk, glock, 1911s, BHP, ...
+1 on the 229. I love the way it shoots. I have the .40 barrel and the 9mm conversion barrel and enjoy being able to shoot .40 and 9mm at the range and have it loaded with .40 hp ammo for home defense. I'll be picking up a 357sig barrel for it soon.
the 357 barrels run between 140-170...
The barrel on the HI-Power is long enough for you to get awesome ballistics out of the 9mm - especially with some loads. The accuracy and pointability of the hi-power coupled with the rapid placement possibilities afforded by the 9mm chambering equate quite a swell pistol-fighting package.
+1...
It's time for a little change...
down with cottage cheese!
go Tillamook!!!! :D
btw - very entertaining thread. I do like to poke fun at the internet forums since I've discovered them in the last year. Before that, I posted from time to time on vehicle forums and the debates there...
I did some more research on this and found that shooting the 45 colt and the 454 can leave residue that builds up in the front part of the chambers where the 460 brass extends to.
I have only used 1 chamber for these smaller calibers, the other 4 have only fired 460 and have been polished to...
The single action break on the model above is excellent. My nicest breaking trigger, and the nicest of most guns I've shot. the DA option is nice for bear protection, though. It's shootable in double action, and accurate if the shooter understands a how to shoot a DA.
I have had this happen on one. it was tight in the cylender and the primer was half out. ill take some pics of the round tonight and post them if i can. I've shot a lot of this ammo and only had this 1 problem.
I've not owned a 454 revolver, but I do attest that this is one sweet shooting piece. I just put it together, so it has no blood on it, but I'll be showing it deer and elk this season; hopefully I don't reach for the sako! :scrutiny:
The 200 grain loads are extremly comfortable to shoot...
