I picked up a P232 from my local shop this afternoon and took it to the range and put 150 rounds through it.

It's a fun little gun! I've got the blued version and at 16oz or so and it's got a noticable recoil that isn't painful at all.

The rear sight was loose so it took me a bit to dial it in. But once done, it was more accurate than me. 20ft groupings (except for the first shot DA) of about 3" or less, which for me is pretty good. Gonna take me a bit to get used to the DA, but it'll come.

No problems, no failures, a real delight.

Is there any gun easier to field strip?

I like it.

I know, I know, pics. But I gotta get going to the Van Halen concert with my kid. Man.

Indeed, the light, little alloy P232 is a real pleasure to shoot. A favorite of mine. One of those guns where it all comes together to just work right. Enjoy, be safe.

I like it too, it is a shame they couldn't put a standard mag release on it. I can not get used to the euro style release.

I've got 7000 rounds on my stainless P232 with out a single malfunction of any kind and it's certainly more accurate than I can hold it. Love that little gun. Enjoy yours.

Super sweet purchase man! I love my 232; it's accuracy is remarkable. What holster options are you considering?

My 232 has proven to be a very reliable and surprisingly accurate little gun. It's a hoot to shoot. It has a surprising kick, but not enough to be uncomfortable.

I've owned a p230 and a p232. I loved them both and only sold them for financial reasons. I wish I had both of them back. I loved to carry mine in a pocket holster. What a great carry gun!

I've got a stainless p230 with about 4k rounds through it. It's one of my favorite guns just because it is fun to take to the range. Just ordered an iwb holster for it so I can use it when the weather gets hot again.

Congrats on your P232. The P232 is probably one of the best modern blowack .380s available today. Smooth shooting for such a small gun, but yet big enough to fit most hands. The DA can get a little tricky to get used to since it's such a long trigger pull on a small gun, but with practice it ain't so bad anymore.

I love my P232 SL!! If you are getting any slide bite get the Hogue grips and this will cure the problem.
