Anyone know what parts on FAL rifles are interchangeable between the inch and metric patterns? Specifically buttstocks and foregrips? I've read on other sites that the buttstocks are different, but not much in how they are different. Another site that they can interchange, just not easily. Does...
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Tru Glo tact sight series (red dot, tac scope, reflex sight) on a large caliber gun (rifle, shotgun, etc.) The packaging says they all are shock proof...but how much shock can they take before they fall apart?

Anyone know where to get 8x PSO scopes with or without lighted reticles? Did some searches on the net and it seems the only hits are on obsolete sites that are no longer in business (http://www.binocularsmart.com). The 4x scope just doesn't cut the mustard beyond 100m for me. Any ideas?
I think the article I read was in an old American Rifleman, but can't be sure. At the time I thought it to be interesting but rather useless. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. I've heard of reloaders who've gone and loaded .30 Matchkings in their .311 Nagants and such, but the accuracy was rather...
Hi all. I remember reading and article in a gun mag many years ago about paper patching jacketed rifle bullets. Not liking the cost of match grade bullets, I was kicking the idea around of paper patching a .30 Sierra Matchking (I already have a good supply of these bought years ago when they...
What about crimping the case, then no wad would be necessary....right? Is there a die set available that does this, or is it one of those factory only gigs?
Hi all,
I've just recently gotten into WW2 reenactment and was surprised at the cost of blank ammuntion for Garands, Carbines and Mausers. Does anyone know of a method to produce blanks, either reloading shot blanks or making new blanks out of regular cartridges? Are crimping dies available for...
Wondering if anyone knows of a source for Wilkerson (Wilkingson?) Arms magazines for the Linda/Terry 9mm pistol/carbines. Haven't had much luck with Google searches. Also interested in any other mag that could be made to work with minor changes. Thanks.
Mike
That was my first thought, a broken firing pin or weak firing pin spring. The other ammo you shot may have had harder primers also, which might explain why it only happened with the Greek stuff.
