Always went for quality over quantity. would rather buy one great pistol for 800 than 2 crappy ones for 400 each. My first pistol was a Sig 226. 14 years later it has never, and I mean never had a failure.
I voted Sig. got my first one in 94, a 226 9mm have probably close to 10k rounds through and never a failure. since added 3 more. I think for many the cost of the Sigs is the prohibitive factor compared to the others.
