PT...I appreciate you sticking with me through this...looks like the bolt had to be cocked...did that...went right in:D...Thanks folks, and a special tip of the hat to Blown6L and Runningman...you all are great!!
PT...Yeah, I can press the bolt release...bolt goes in all the way except for the last 1/4 inch...Fremmer...it is cocked...and if that is the problem, any way to uncock without damaging it?
I know it's only metal. I should be able to put this bolt back. No can do...sure would appreciate some help. Is there a secret to doing this? Been a long week, and this ain't helping. Thanks for any advice.
My Dad has a 4" 6 shot .38 caliber revolver. On the left side, just under the cylinder release, is stamped "Converted by Cogswell & Harrison London". Sorry if this has come up before, but could you share some info regarding this weapon's history and origin. Serial # is V 364***
I carry a 642 in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster...I prefer this over IWB carry, which would be the only way I'd consider carrying the G26. In the colder months, the revolver snuggles inside my coat pocket, w/o the Nemesis.
Local GS has a 5.5" S&W Model 41, on consignment, for $815.00 OTD. Production year is 1996 and is ANIB with 2 mags. Beautiful weapon...How about the price?
Smith Model 41 (5.5" barrel)...Colt Diamondback (blued 6" .22lr)...HK P7M8...Ed Brown Special Forces SA .45...And, LAST, but not least, an exc. condition Luger.
My local sells only ammo...one 10 miles away sells long guns...bought my first and LAST (Ruger 10/22) gun there...had to have a manager escort me out with my "evil" purchase...What a JOKE!!!
A local GS has 2 High Standards, from a private collection, for sale...Based on the fact that this store usually prices their new guns $150.00 more than any other retail shop I've ever patronized, (they are in a metro area where price seems not to be questioned) I'd like some opinions on what...
I need help deciding between these two. I'm not a target/bullseye shooter, just want a high quality weapon. Haven't shot either yet, but would appreciate hearing from those who have. Thanks for your expertise.
