I know this is a dumb question but will my garage sale find Pacific .357 mag carbide dies crimp .38spl correctly? I am going to try later but any advice will be appreciated.
What do call the metal grip between the trigger guard and the wood grips on older revolvers? They look like they attach over the original wood stocks. And can I get some for my older Charter Arms Undercover?
I went shooting with a buddy Friday and right before we left his Browning Buckmark blew up. I mean the top strap bowed up 1/2'' and the slide bent upward. Anybody ever had this happen to their Buckmark? I will post pics in the next day or so.
Anybody go to the Tanner gun show today? Thinking of going tomorrow but would like to hear some info about crowds and if it is even worth driving up there. Also any pmags?
I am building my first AR and am thinking about the dissipator type upper with the 16'' barrel but the longer sight distance. Are they any good? Has anyone had problems with them? And can I get rails and/or different handguards? Also are there any cons to this type of upper?
I just got a MAC-10 in a trade and have been thinking about trading it for something else. I have been dreaming of a EAA Witness in 10mm for a long time.
I also have been thinking about a 4 or 6 inch .357mag. Anyways what kind of pistol should I try to trade this for? I am open to any ideas.
A buddy of mine has a Mac 10 semi auto 9mm pistol with 4 mags for sale and doesn't really know what to ask for it. I know it says Stephenville Texas on it and it has a fake silencer. Anybody know about these pistols?
I am new to reloading and would like to know where I could purchase this type of bullet in 230gr. Or if the ranger bullet isn't for sale how about the golden sabre.
Well about a month ago my dad found this Remington model 700 in pieces at a yard sale for $25. He called me and asked if I wanted it. I answered "Hell Yeah" and left my jobsite to go buy it. I guess the previous owner had spilled bathroom cleaner that contained acid on the rifle. The finish is...
I just reloaded my very first cartridge today and would like to know if this is a safe load. 230 gr hornady fmj fp above 5 gr of bullseye with a cci primer.
According to my lee data this is safe. But I would love some thoughts and or advice. Oh yeah OAL is 1.242
I am brand new to reloading...
So my 10/22 is acting up. I shot it on the fourth and I had a lot of ftf's. The cases don't have much of a dent where the pin strikes so I am wondering if maybe the hammer spring is weak? I think I could handle installing a new spring, any suggestions and/or advice?
Where can I fire my 1911 near Cripple Creek, Colorado? I will be up there on the fourth and I would love to celebrate my independence by exercising my second amendment rights. I don't mind a little drive and I will be coming from Denver.
I think this is 8mm ammo? I found this and don't own anything that would eat it.
A magnet will stick to the bullet but not the case. The bullet is sort of silver colored instead of brass and the case is crimped.
1955 manufacture?
I thought that Colorado law trumped Denver law but I want to be certain what is legal in the city limits. Also what about a 10/22 with folding stock and 25 round mag?
