If you take the grips off, I forget what side. Is there a date under them? My new one says 2009, and my old one says 1999.

I have been looking at the CZ 75b, a CZ 85 combat, and a XDM. I just can't choose, all feel good in my hand. Just looking for a 9mm for the range for some less expensive shooting, but also want it to be accurate. What would you choose?

Thank you all for your replies. Sounds like a great gun, and the trigger on this used one felt really nice. I have to stop by another store to see if they have a new one and how much it sells for new. Then maybe I can get the price of this used one down some.

I was looking into a cz75b, and came across a used 85 combat. It has an adjustable rear sight and an over travel screw in the trigger. Looks like new and comes with 3 mags. Price is $500, is that a good price or is it high? I'm just looking for a 9mm range gun. Any opinions on this 85...

I would like to know if anyone has used this also. There is both a steel case one made in Russia, and if you go further down the ammo page, a brass case one, from Indonesia. The brass one is less expensive.

I agree that prices are different in different areas. Here in CT at Hoffman's guns, NIB LCPs are $269 The highest price Hoffman had them at was $289 when they first came out. Had a sale once for $249. Look them up on line, they have pretty good prices for around here.
