    CCI CB Long .22

    I shoot CCI CB caps out of my old Rem 550-1 and it has no trouble taking out the squirrels that have invaded my yard and climb into the attic. The shorts won't cycle in the rifle but the longs do all day long. Very quiet also. My guess is they would kill a person if you shoot them in the right...

    Cheap .22LR Scope

    I have had a BSA Classic 4 x 32 on my Remington 550-1 for a couple weeks.I have been shooting almost every day with no trouble. Three tree rats on three shots last sunday.Not sure why some don't like BSA but I didn't see putting a $100.00 scope on a $100.00 rifle. $25.00 at Walmart.

    Favorite .22 LR rifle?

    Remington 550-1 that my Dad gave me a few years back. His Father gave it to him in 1947 I believe. Very accurate and will shoot shorts & longs.

    Why your gun should be fully loaded

    Try this with your dog. Take a piece of paper and put it in front of your face. It will confuse a dog for some odd reason. I have heard of people doing this to dogs that were approaching them with good results.

    For what it's worth I have a Rock River and my Nephew has a Bushmaster. I like them both alot. You really can't go wrong with either.

    Go to MidwayUSA and look for Marble's catch 22 storage dispenser. I saw it in the catalog a few nights ago and looks like a pretty handy idea.

    Quiet .22 rd for 700-800 FPS

    I spent about an hour shooting in my backyard yesterday. I was shooting CCI CB shorts out of my Remington 550-1 and they were no louder then my air rifle. I have used these in the past on tree rats and they will do the job.
