I found a 7mm Mauser that I'm serious interested in. Biggest drawback is I can't seem to locate any surplus ammo for it. There are some premium boxes available but the price is $1.80 a round. Ouch. Any suggestions? Scott

Went down to B'ham today for the gunshow. Wow, what a crowd. We saw lots of the usual fair and lots of overblown prices. Chinese surplus 7.62X51 seems to have materialized and was selling for $15.00 for a box of 20. Most .308 that was available was at that price or higher. 140 round battle...

Dental bills are forcing me to consider selling my AR. It's a Bushmaster 16 inch. A2 setup. It originally came with the 14.5 barrel and mini-Y comp, but was sent back to Bushmaster (because I hated the comp) and Bushmaster installed a 16 inch 5.56 nato heavy barrel to make me happy...no muzzle...
