I've had a USP9FSS since 2000 and the only malfunction has been a broken firing pin after a disgusting amount of dry fires; HK replaced it quickly and for free.

Are you having problems with yours? I find that if I hold the rifle muzzle up, press the slide release, and the forearm will slide to the rear by its own weight. There may just be some additional spots that need cleaning or lubrication.
