    Speer 1835 discontinued?

Anybody seen Speer 1835 (110 gr JHP .308) bullets lately? I like them in my 30-06 but they seem to have vanished the last couple years.

    Which SD ammo for LC9S?

That's what I gather so far. Interesting stuff.

    Which SD ammo for LC9S?

But is your pistol a LC9S?

    Which SD ammo for LC9S?

I just broke in my new LC9S. This will be my new carry piece. Has anybody else with the same gun run a batch of defensive ammunition through it to test reliability? Mind sharing your experience on what the most reliable kind is? Thanks in advance!

Consistency with Lee Pro Powder Disc

Seems to happen to me after letting the measure sit 24 hours or so. I think time and vibration settles/compacts the powder in the cavity. Not above max load, so it's of little concern. I just toss the first charge when I start loading.

    Church security: Notifying the congregation

Yes, I'm positive we have to provide notification. No, we aren't required to disclose the roster of members, but do have to have one. Some have specially recommended we steer clear of touting how well trained the team is for liability reasons. What do you guys think?

    Church security: Notifying the congregation

I found that in a search. Nothing about notifying the congregation. Did I miss it?

    Church security: Notifying the congregation

I am in a state that only allows you carry in church if you are part of a "security team" and "notify the congregation in writing." We have decided to publish a blurb in the bulletin once per quarter to fulfill this requirement but are a little lost with what verbiage to use. We want to put...

Does anybody else make a case-operated expander/powder dispenser?

    .45 185-grain

No, but stability can just as easily be a fault of the barrel as it can the projectile. All he can conclusively say is they don't work well in his gun at whatever load he tried.

30 cal hunters - Favorite whitetail bullet weight?

110 gr Speer 1835 flat-nose JHP loaded in a 30-06. Might be the lightest mentioned so far, but the flat nose hits HARD.

High primer and misfires in 30-06

They are all seated by hand and below flush. Re-strikes don't set them off. Load data is from the Speer manual (using a Speer 1835 bullet) and I'm running ABOVE minimum load. These clock about 2850 FPS. I have been FL resizing and trimming to recommended length (2.484).

High primer and misfires in 30-06

I've been getting a lot of high primers and a few misfires. I'd say around half (or more) of my primers are high after discharge and 1-2 out of 20 rounds don't fire. Cartridge is 30-06 110 JHP over 47.6 gr IMR 3031 in twice fired brass (3rd loading). Can the primer pockets wearing out cause...

Data for 380 ACP 115 gr LRN?

If I could have them, I'd do it in a heartbeat. You work with what you have. Well, assuming you can find load data for what you have...

Data for 380 ACP 115 gr LRN?

I finally got some lead to load for the Bodyguard...115 gr LRN is the best I could do. I have Accurate #2 and #5 on hand (and don't plan on being able to find anything different). Anyone have data for this projectile and powder? Thanks in advance!

    which press?

You might, actually...I know Bass pro in Council Bluffs, IA has a couple presses set up so you can see them outside the box and pull the lever. Not much, but it's something. Otherwise, yeah, getting your mitts on one without ordering it can be tricky.

    RCBS hand prime tool compatability

You already have the priming tool? If not, you can change directions and just get the RCBS APS priming tool with the universal shellholder. That makes it a non-issue.

    which press?

What are your monthly ammo requirements? I find my RCBS doesn't run as smooth as Dillons at high speed. But I can't overstate how great the APS priming system on the RCBS is.
