I'm looking for a first 1911. It will be used for pin, plate and bullseye. I know Colt is an icon, but i like the older target models. So to be fair, I am looking at a SA comp. Any pros or cons you guys can share would be great

1911 is the main stay, but what about the Pardini? I think its the GT45.
Pardini has made quite a name for themselves in air, 22, rapidfire and free pistol. How does the GT45 compare to a Les Baer?
I've always liked the looks of this little 45. I am in the market for my first 1911. I like the size, but am concerned that such a small gun will want to jump out of my hand! question: can I put a compensator on the P 10? and is there a 22 conversion for it? and does anyone have some feedback...
question: why did Walther stop making these? Baikal is still making their 35, and selling lots of em. Why did'nt the Walther become more popular? now all you can get is the plinker P-22 or the top end 1500.00 GSP.:scrutiny: :confused:
