My SKS what do yall think?

It looks great. Keep a foregrip off of that rail. ;)

Gun more likely to be used against a relative in the home?

Is it a myth that a firearm is more likely to be used against one of your own family members at your home than against an intruder? I was talking to the person next to me on a flight back to Houston, since there was nothing better to do, and the topic of guns came up. I asked him if he owned any...

I plan to purchase a .45 and I would like some input

Why not get a S&W1911 or a Dan Wesson? Both are great quality, not too expensive, stainless steel, made right here in America. But if you had to choose between those three I'd suggest Kimber.

    S&w r8

What's the deal with this little-known revolver? I like the concept of an 8-round .357. It seemed to have appeared and dissapeared from the market, though.

Holster scratched finish on my S&W M&P 45 -- what to do???

My carry gun has so many little scratches and little nicks. Even Tenifer will wear off after a long time. It's not a big deal. If you really want the look of the gun to stay cherry, get an NP3 coating on your slide.

    Glock Announces Adjustable Grips?

I like the grip of the Glock, maybe as much as I do that of a 1911. Personally, it fits my hand very solidly and very well. However, it would be a shame if the frames for these new adjustable models were non-interchangeable.

    Grand Master

You have to shoot... a freaking lot. And be good at it. Very good. There's no other way I can put this, if I avoid all the technical stuff.

What's the best AR for an AR noob?

Any of the manufacturers will do as long as the chamber is specified for 5.56 and the price range is what you like. Disregarding individual customer options, most of the AR-15s in a certain price range are about the same quality.

why are Swarovski Riflescopes so expensive?

    Their lenses are extremely high-quality.

    New Paint Job

I'm more of a "blued and chrome" kind of guy, but that camouflage job is magnificent.

    The Misunderstood .450 Marlin

I've never even heard of the cartridge before.

Have you had a gunfight recently?

Gamo and Crosman pistols are decent when training for SD. The .177s fly pretty flat, and sting upon impact.

Show us your homemade reactive targets...

I use shook-up soda cans, they go BANG and fly in the air with a mighty splash when shot. Especially with .308 ;)

    "Lock and Load"?

Possibly, in the days of blackpowder, they cocked the hammer, then put in the powder and ball. I have no experience with blackpowder weapons, so I wouldn't know. It could also mean to lock (as in lock back the bolt) and load (insert the magazine and release the bolt catch). In the days of the...
