I have a Uniflow powder measure that i have used for years and want to buy the linkage kit to make it case activated but it costs $80.00 dollars or so and i was wondering if i bought a dillon powder measure for around the same price would that be better ?

I picked up a book today written by W.J.Kirst called SELF CONSUMING PAPER CARTRIDGES for the PERCUSSION REVOLVER copyright 1983-1985 . It's small more like a primer style of book,only 8 pages long with lots of diagrams on how to.Very interesting little book. Only cost me a $1.00 Has any one seen one
I read some where that the hammer and the thru hole was made off center to keep the pistol from shooting center fire ammo. It was made so the european marked could have a 1873 style looking Colt type revolver.
