This is unreal. Only in Toledo.

The Toledo Free Press is reporting that although a man with a temporary emergency concealed handgun license was not charged with a crime, police have seen fit to confiscate and hold...
You won't believe this article. Take a look and prepared to be amazed at how much money that anti-gun groups in Ohio take in.

I can either buy an off the shelf Springfield Black Stainless or use the money to make my Springfield Mil-Spec a semi-custom gun.
The semi-custome would include, an Ed Brown BT and thumb safety, beveled mag well, Novak sights, Kart bbl, bushing and link, dehorned, trigger job, reliability...

* OFCC NEEDS YOUR IMMEDIATE HELP! *
Ohioans for Concealed Carry has learned that Toby Hoover and her
anti-gun group the Ohio Coalition "Against Gun Violence" has filed a
Writ of Mandamus to bar Franklin County Sheriff Jim Karnes from issuing
any concealed handgun license. If...
A friend of mine made a stupid mistake returning from a trip to Atlanta. He drove down and was flying back and pulled the "I forgot the gun was in the bag" stunt. He was arrested and since he is not from Atlanta (we are both from Columbus OH) needs an attorney there.
If anyone can lend a...
Just a thought for everyone that trains and doesn't take the time to truly learn to shoot with your non-dominant hand. All the training in the world is worthless if you can't shoot accurate with your off-hand. You may think - like I used to - that the odds of ever having your dominant hand...
How do I zero a red dot scope on my AR-15? It's used for plinking only and I have a Tasco ProPoint mounted in front of the carry handle on an A2 version AR upper. My goal is to zero similar to the army at 25 meters (I only have a 25 yard range, according to Maryland AR-15 shooters website I need...
FYI for those in and around Columbus.

Last week I went to my bank to get a cashier's check so I could close on a rental property later in the day. Half way through my transaction a teller from the other end of the counter comes running by, almost in tears, and informs the manager someone just tried to rob the bank. No kidding. Now...
I just finished 5 first ever handloaded .45 ACP rounds. The load is 5.1 grains of No2 with a 230gr LRN bullet and a Winchester primer. Each round was loaded very carefully and checked (and checked and checked) for correct powder charge and cartridge length. Now I have to get up the guts to...
After several weeks of research I've decided (I think) on a 22-250 bolt action rifle. Expected uses will be paper punching, hopefully some varminting and general plinking. Lack of recoil is vitally important due to serious shoulder and back problems. The only other option was the .223 and my...
Took my new Beretta NEOS .22 to the range today. Overall I was impressed with its accuracy and reliability. There were no malfunctions, even with very cheap ammo, and it's more accurate than I could ever hope to be (that's not saying much). It did take some time to get used to the goofy look of...
FYI, I know this might not be the right forum but it is autoloader handgun related. In Columbus OH Gander Mountain has the Springfield Mil-Spec .45 Government model for $389!!! Vance's Shooting Sports is offering them for $399. Seems like a good deal.
Took my new (to me) Series I Pro Carry HD to the range for the first time today. I arrived unpacked my bag, loaded up a magazine, set the target out 50 ft and fired away. Took a look and didn't see any holes in the target. ***!? Brought the target back and all five shots were in the black center...
I'm sitting at work on Thursday and my wife calls to let me know my bonus was direct deposited in our bank account. She goes on to say she took care of the bills we wanted to pay and "set aside $800 so you can go buy the gun you've wanted." At first, I refused but she insisted since in her...
Just got home from the first range visit with my new Glock 33 .357 SIG subcompact and all I can say is WOW!! What a great gun. Accuracy is excellent, recoil isn't the problem I expected and it easily digested several different loadings. Tough to beat in an easily concealed gun, I'm thrilled. :D
Just give the robber what they want and nothing will happen. Yeah, right! Good thing our wonderful Governor Taft blocked CCW. Otherwise, someone might have helped the victim.
