I was just wondering if there was some specific reason neck sizing is not recommended for auto loading rifles? I was ordering a neck sizer for my .308 Remington 700 SLS and was going to pick one up for .223 for my AR-15, but noticed that they do not recommend neck sizing for pretty much...
I was wondering the other day how well my carry load for my P-3AT would do. So, I made up a batch of homemade ballistic gel and found out. :D
This is a Speer 90gr Gold Dot HP fired from a KT P-3AT into gel at 3 feet. The load was 3.4gr of Bullseye with a CCI 500 small pistol primer and CCI once...
I picked up a box of Federal 124gr Nyclad 9mm ammo yesterday, my FLGS had one box hanging around that they gave me cheap. From what I read they have been discontinued for quite a while, but I was just wondering if these are any good for a SD round? If not I'll probably just shoot 'em up and use...
Spent the better part of today turning a five gallon bucket of wheel weights into lead muffins. :D Tomorrow I'll get them all turned into 200gr .452 semi wad cutters.
OK, maybe a dumb question here. I was perusing my load manuals and all of them list +P .38 loads, but none for 9mm or anything else. Is there a reason for this? What exactly constitutes a +P or +P+ load in 9mm?
I have a Kel Tec P3AT I'm trying to work up some light loads for. (it's not much fun to shoot with the hotter loads) I have a Sierra 90 gr JHP and a Carrol 95gr LRN and I can't find ANY load data for either one.
I'm using W 231 for my .45 and 9mm so I'd like to stick with that if at all...
I've finally decided to upgrade the sights on my 1911. What I'm looking for is some relatively inexpensive, fixed, three dot style. I have the dovetail rear and staked on front. Any recommendations?
