I've shot a ton of it ove the years in .357, 9mm and 45acp. No trouble at all with the revolver stuff and just an occasional stovepipe with the 9mm and.45. Everything I've shot the 9mm stuff in just ate it up. My Glock 30 however doesn't like it at all.
They busted the sliding glass door to my apartment off the tracks and ransacked the place. Stole my 10/22, a Security Six, and 870 and on old crock pitcher full of wheat pennies and silver certificates. NRA paid off on the guns but the old pitcher was my Grandmothers and had more sentimental...
The bar scene from Chuck Norris Code of Silence. Two BG walk into a bar to rob it and yell "this is a stickup" as they walk in the front door. Every person in the bar throws down on them with something. Shouldnt try to rob a cop bar in Chicago.
Traded a Taurus 945 and a Kel-Tek 9mm for a NIB Glock 30. Not sure who took who but I got rid of a .45 that had hammer bite from hell and a 9mm that the broad side of barns were safe from for a dang sweet shootin pistol. Everyone was happy at the end of the day.
My wife could care less, and to my daughter and step daughters the weapon of their choice. The rest are to be donated to the local Friends of the NRA chapter to be auctioned off.
Don't forget regular glass for those MKII guys. Grab a B Square mount and a regular 2X pistol scope and your good to go. While not as "fun" to shoot as a dot scope it's a little more of a challenge. Amen on the "old eyes.":D
Keep an eye out for the S&W 22A's. Used ones can be found in the $135-175 range. Politics aside they are good shooting, accurate guns. Another option would be some of the Taurus wheelguns. A model 96 or 94 are good shooters too.
Thats the reason I try to make garage sales. I just know "Grandpa's Army gun" is waiting for me somewhere. I rarely see weapons of any kind around here and the one's I do see they are asking new gun prices. Ya done good.
I would be careful with it. It took about 2 mags full of 115 grain Cor Bon +p's before it did the firig pin in on my PT99. My gun was made in the mid 80's so I don't know if the newer guns are made to handle the hotter rounds. YMMV
on Dec. 20, he killed another sniper with one shot from an XM107 .50 caliber sniper rifle at a distance of 750 meters.
At 750 meters with a .50 thats kinda like shooting a mouse at 10 yards with a BB gun isnt it? That is well with in the M-14 or M-24 range. Guess you use what you have handy.:D
Read the booklet that came with your papers. It will all be covered in the classes but it's good to know before hand. Depending on who the instructor is and who is in your class some of this stuff may not get covered before the test. Please do your homework before going into the classroom...
I got a little Daisey BB gun for Christmas when I was six. I cocked that thing so many times that day I had blisters on both hands. The lesson was driven home when I finally hit that first sparrow. I'll never forget picking up that little bird, hearing it chirp one time and watching it's eyes...
I rolled tape on it and just today had time to watch it. I agree that the message is a CYA move on the part of the producers and Fox. I figure with the rash of D.A.'s that have hurt or killed themselves trying to duplicate stunts seen on MTV's Jackass because of the Russian Roulette scene they...
