    Opinions of the Kel-Tec

Opinion of the Kel-Tec I have a P - 11 that absolutely lives in my pocket. It's been there for a little more than a year & a half. I got it barely used for $200 ( previous owner did not like the recoil and went to a Browning Hi - Power) and after a little gettin' used to, it has been as...

Suggestions for .22 revolver for 8 year old?

Glad to see you tried an H & R. Like I said back in Jan. they are about as light and simple as you can get. They'll also give you years of service. If your pic is accurate that appears to be in even better condition than my Sportsman, which is still goin' strong. Enjoy!

    Pocket gun options?

My P-11 lives in the right front pocket of my off the rack "Hampton Bay" dungarees. I have no trouble with printin' and I use an Uncle Mike's sidekick in-the-pocket holster. In all honesty however I have been accused of havin' "deep pockets".:D

Just got my purchasers permit...need advice

Sisco is absolutely correct. Go for the Ruger GP-100. I have a 4 inch 357 blue with the full underlug and it seems indestructible. I dry fire practice at night lookin' at TV and that trigger just keeps gettin' better all the time. Check one out.

    Pocket gun options?

Another vote for Kel-Tec P-11. Mine "lives" in my front pocket. Carries comfortable....shoots comfortable. How doooo they get eleven 9 mms. into such a small package?

What's the cheapest, yet GOOD 9mm handgun around?

My vote is for the Ruger P95D. Jeep Driver is right, you can shoot 'em forever. Kel-Tec P-11 is worth a look, so far the Ruger appears to be the better of the two but the P-11 is way easier to conceal.

    Kel-Tec .380 as a primary CCW ?

P95Carry The trigger area on the P-11 is the same. You put too much finger in there and it will "bite" you on the way back. The bright side is that it will sure school you right quick on developing the proper grip. I have rather large hands (Size 15 foot might give you some idea) and the...

    Need ideas for CCW gun.

Check out Kel-Tec. I got the chrome slide because I've heard that they stand up best against sweat. I'm still gettin' used to mine and I haven't had much exposure to warm weather here in the Catskills during March; but it sure carries comfortable and the eleven 9mms. in the P-11 are mighty...

    New CCW gun

Currently carryin' a Kel-Tec P-11 in an Uncle Mike's Sidekick holster. Stick it in your front pocket and no one will know it's there 'til someone yells, "SHOW ME". It's small, light and so far has shot every time I pulled the trigger.

    Kel-Tec .380 as a primary CCW ?

PX15: You are as eloquent on this forum as you are elsewhere.:D I've been carryin' my P-11 a couple of weeks now in an Uncle Mike's Sidekick holster, which resides in my front pocket. I haven't really shot it enough to have an opinion yet, but so far everytime I pull the trigger a...

Where did the pocket revolvers go?

What a coincidence! The Airweight 637 was the last revolver I had been considering before I purchased the Kel-Tec P-11. The 637 was very light indeed but did not come in & out of the pocket as easily. Taurus may be on to something making the frame a bit smaller. But 32 H & R magnum is as small a...

Where did the pocket revolvers go?

I've been searching High & Low for a pocket revolver for over a year. Can't seem to find one that feels "just right", is easily concealable, and packs enough of a punch with a certain degree of accuracy. I recently went the Kel-Tec route picking a P-11 in 9mm with the chrome slide. I have to...

    Price on GP 100

Paid $300 about a year ago for a 4inch full lug 357 GP100 in tremendous condition. Never regretted it and don't expect to, have put a ton of ammo through it and its as good as the day I got it. Trigger pull is actually gettin' better.

    Taurus vs. Smith & Wesson

Get a Ruger Redhawk or Blackhawk, That's the kind of delivery system you want for the 44 Mag.

    SP101...640...SP101...640...arrggg!

I have been stuck in the same Quandry for quite a while myself. Indecision is a terrible thing! I have also considered S & W Model 637 but keep hearing stories of Airweights "bulging out" from hot loads which makes me wary. I have looked at Taurus clones but have heard too many horror stories...
