They will have all the parts and bushings you need. They also sell an adapter that will let you use MEC bushings in the press. You can also use any P/W, Hornady, or RCBS Shot and powder bushings in them.
Since I have moved up to a Dill Progressive from a Lee Turret I have noticed some brass flakes in the bin where finished rounds go. They are real small or fine. Is this normal? Never used a collection bin before so I guess I have never noticed this.
Does any one know of any good places online to buy original M1 carbine parts? Also looking for some sites and fourms related to M1 Carbines. Anybody know of any? Thanks!
Paul - I should have used a better choice of words. I didn't push too hard. Once I got some resistance I quit and emptied the tube.
Loaded up some more bullets today after adjusting the crimper and that seem to fix the problem on most of my brass. I still had a few that wouldn't go into the...
Got my new Dillon SDB in .45ACP setup today. I was able to get the powder thrower to throw the right amount and got the bullet seater set to the correct length. I have a problem and several questions. I will number them to make the replies easier.
1. What is the best primer to use with the...
If you interested in a Mini Grand I have on for sale with the addon Steel Kit, the shell taiperer in slot 7 and an adapter so MEC bushings can be used in it.
I would go with a MEC SteelMaster 3 1/2". It has a better resizer than the 600jr. You can get a set of spacer bushings from Precission Reloading and won't have to take the press apart to change lengths. I have one and a set of spacers for 2 3/4" and 3" hulls. This is the best setup in my...
I have sold all of my Lee stuff except for my Single Stage Classic Cast. I'm getting ready to purchase a Dillon reloader and wanted some opinions about the two. I've heard that .45's can be a pain to load on the SDB. I only plan to load .45's on it and maybe 10mm down the road. Don't see any...
I was wondering what everyone used for a Dust cover for their press if a company doesn't make one for a certain press or if there is anything cheaper than the manufactures cover. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.
I think Chuck hit the nail on the head. I took 4 PMC factory ammo rounds, fired 2 out of the HK and fired two out of the Glock. I ran them through my resizing die, and the ones that came out of the Glock seem a wee bit tighter and stick out just the slightest bit more than the ones that were...
Thanks, that is probally what the problem is. I would say all of the once fired brass I have either came form me shooting it out of my Glock or 1911 and the rest came from the Sheriff's Office range where they have nothing but Glocks. Do you have a web site or phone number for the company you...
I use the Spring loaded type loading .45 I always visually inspect each case before inserting a bullet. I use a 4-hole Lee Turret press. I've put 3000 rounds through it so far without a hitch.
I've been reloading .45ACP for about year now. I've been shooting them out of my Glock 21 and a 1911 Colt without any problems. I just recently purchased a used HK USP Compact and it is having problems with my reloads. It will shoot some of them fine. The biggest problem I'm having is it will...
